Route:
From Utrecht it is about 1,000 km to Mollens. The estimated travel time is approximately 10 to 12 hours (including short stops).
Below is a route that you can possibly drive.
You drive via the A12, A50, A73 to Venlo. From Venlo, follow signs for Mönchengladbach (A61). Then continue on the A61 towards Köln, Koblenz, Mannheim. Then a short distance on the A6 towards Karlsruhe, then the A5 towards Karlsruhe / Basel. You cross the border at Basel and continue on the A2 towards Bern. Then take the A1 towards Bern. There are two options from Bern:
1. Along Lake Geneva via the A12 towards Friborg / Lausanne. In Vevey follow the A9 in the direction of Simplon to Sierre Ouest. There you take the exit Crans-Montana. See route picture 2 below.
Follow the direction of Crans-Montana in three consecutive roundabouts. At the fourth roundabout go straight towards Crans-Montana. At the fifth roundabout, go straight on and immediately take the left lane towards 'Center Ville'. Crans-Montana is regularly indicated on the left lane. Go straight on at the traffic light "Center Ville" and keep left. Drive straight through the busy shopping street and keep to the left lane. Watch out for pedestrians!
@ Turn right at the big direction sign to Crans-Montana / Aminona. Always keep Crans-Montana / Aminona. Drive through Veyras, pass the Hotel Bellevue in the village of Venthône, turn right to Hotel Panorama and then arrive in Mollens.
The village of Mollens is almost completely by. At some point you will see a large amazon sign on the right side (in bright pink, see photo). You drive here for a short time and after this exit it is still about 150 m, after 150 m you will see a parking lot on the right (see photo). Park your car here on the left side of the car park and take the stairs to Chalet No. 74.
Note: The parking lot is paved.
2. You can also use the DB Autozug: from Bern via Thun, Spiez, Kandersteg: Autozug Lötschental-Goppenstein. Cost DB Autozug approx. SFR 25, - including inmates. From Goppenstein direction Sion to Sierre. At the roundabout in Sierre follow Sion / Center Ville. At the traffic lights turn right towards Crans-Montana / Aminona. Now follows the route from @.
